INTRODUCTION : The Myth of "Quick Relaxation"
In our busy world, we often look for shortcuts. "Lunch Yoga" in 45 minutes or "Power Yoga" in 60 minutes are the standard in many Bern fitness studios. But can you really rush relaxation?
As a Yoga Master with over 20 years of experience, I say: No. The body has its own rhythm, and it cannot be tricked.
MAIN BODY : The Physiological Reason for 90 Minutes
It takes time for the nervous system to switch from "Sympathetic" (Fight or Flight) to "Parasympathetic" (Rest and Digest).
• The First 30 Minutes: The body is still in "Daily Mode." Muscles are tight, the mind is loud. In 60-minute classes, the session often ends exactly when the body is finally ready to let go.
• The "Yogveda Kriya" Phase (45 Min): We use the first half of the class to mobilize joints and open energy channels. This is not just a "warm-up"; it is the necessary preparation.
• The "Deep Work" Phase: Only after 45 minutes is the body biomechanically ready for deep, transformative Asanas without risk of injury.
THE YOGVEDA DIFFERENCE : Respecting Your Biorhythm
We refuse to turn yoga into "Fast Food." Our 90-minute structure respects your body's circadian rhythm.
Arrival & Kriya (Preparation)
Asana (Deep Work)
Pranayama & Meditation (Integration)
When you leave a class, you haven't just "exercised." You have shifted your state of being.
CONCLUSION: Invest Time to Gain Time
A 90-minute practice gives you back energy for the entire day. You become more focused, calmer, and efficient.
