ROOTS OF MOVEMENT
Yoga Workshop Bern
14-02.2026 - 09.00 - 14.00

“Stand still long enough — and your hips will tell you where you’re stuck.”
“Your walk reveals your hips — but your hips can change your walk.”
“Tight hips don’t just limit movement — they limit how alive you feel.”
Your legs and hips are the foundation of strength and mobility, yet they often hold tension and restriction. This can lead to:
-
Tight hips and lower back
-
Reduced stride and balance
-
Shallow breath and low energy
This workshop explores the muscles of the hips, thighs, and lower back, teaching you how to release tightness and restore freedom of movement.
How Legs & Hips Shape Posture, Breath, and Mind
Area Effect of Tight or Weak Legs/Hips
Posture Tight hip flexors pull the pelvis forward; weak glutes collapse the lower back — misaligning the entire spine.
Breath Restricted hips limit pelvic tilt and diaphragmatic space, compressing breath and reducing calm.
MindChronic hip tension stores emotional stress, creating restlessness and blocking grounded presence.
Through carefully sequenced asanas and breathwork, you’ll improve flexibility, strengthen key stabilizers, and enhance your posture and gait — from root to crown.
