Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026 | Time: 09:00 – 14:00 Led by: Yoga Master Shahid Khan

Theme: Abhyasa & Vairagya in Body, Breath, and Mind.

In our fast-moving modern lives, we often fluctuate between extremes: over-effort and exhaustion, control and collapse. This 5-hour Yogveda Master Workshop uses the original wisdom of the Yoga Sutras to restore balance.

The Definition of Kriya Yoga

It is vital to return to the source. We teach Kriya Yoga exactly as defined in Chapter 2 of the Yoga Sutras (Sutra 2.1): as the "Yoga of Action."

It is not the mystical breathing technique of a modern brand, but the psychological roadmap to freedom, consisting of three essential pillars:

  1. Tapas (Discipline & Inner Fire)

  2. Svadhyaya (Self-Study)

  3. Ishvara Pranidhana (Surrender & Trust)

We use these principles as practical tools to master the dynamic balance between willpower and letting go.

Why This Workshop is Vital Today

Most people struggle with internal instability:

  • Inconsistency in practice and life routines.

  • Mental overactivity and difficulty switching off.

  • The constant feeling of "doing" without true presence.

The Yoga Sutras present the solution: Mastery is achieved through consistent practice (Abhyasa) and the ability to let go (Vairagya).

In this workshop, you will learn to integrate these principles directly into your body and breath.

The 4 Pillars of Experience

We weave the philosophy directly into the Yogveda Method:

1. Steady Asana Practice (Tapas)

We use discipline to generate heat and burn through blockages.

  • Structured sequences for endurance and stability.

  • Long holds promoting resilience and mental discipline.

  • Precise alignment as a form of self-mastery.

2. Self-Study in the Body (Svadhyaya)

Observe yourself within the challenge.

  • Where am I holding unnecessary tension (jaw, shoulders)?

  • How do I react to resistance?

  • We use the body as a mirror of the mind.

3. Pranayama & Surrender (Ishvara Pranidhana)

Learn to let go of the result.

  • Breath techniques to regulate the nervous system.

  • Finding the balance between control (Inhalation) and surrender (Exhalation).

4. Meditative Integration

The observation of effort versus letting go.

  • Cultivating stillness amidst sensation.

  • Experiencing mental clarity through pure awareness.

Your Benefit: From Effort to Ease

This workshop is ideal for anyone seeking the depth of yoga beyond modern trends.

  • Mental Stability: Tools to manage stress and emotional reactivity.

  • Physical Freedom: A deeper connection to breath and body awareness.

  • Consistency: A practical method to build sustainable routines in life.
